2024 Pre-Conference, On-Farm Workshop!
From Data to Action: How Water Quality Projects Improve No-Till Farming
Join us at Starkey Farms on January 9th
No-Till Innovator Mike Starkey will host the 2024 National No-Tillage Conference pre-conference workshop at his farm shop just 30 minutes northwest of Indianapolis. He and Bob Barr, research scientist at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, share data from their latest water quality monitoring project, and discuss its impact on Starkey's Brownsburg, Ind., operation and the surrounding community that's home to more than 2 million people. Attendees have the chance to examine the 2023 Innovator Award recipient's planter and talk shop about the conservation practices in place on his farm. A sit-down dinner at Starkey's modern farm shop follows the workshop.
